Supergirl And Batwoman Unite In New Arrowverse Crossover Photo

While we may not know all the details about the next major Arrowverse crossover, titled “Elseworlds,” just yet, you could certainly say that the puzzle is coming together in the most fantastic of ways.

I mean, not only will the mega event introduce Ruby Rose as Batwoman and see Grant Gustin and Stephen Amell trade places as the Flash and Green Arrow, but we’ll also have Tyler Hoechlin donning a black Superman costume, while all signs point toward Doctor Destiny being the main antagonist. And if that isn’t enough to get you stoked, how about this new photo that Melissa Benoist recently shared?

Seen in the gallery down below is a behind the scenes snap which sees Benoist’s Supergirl standing side by side with Rose’s Batwoman. Given that it’s just a fun BTS shot, it doesn’t tell us much about the crossover itself, but it’s nice to see the girls together regardless. Not to mention it also gives us another look at Batwoman’s costume.

As we mentioned above, there’s much to look forward to with this year’s crossover and we can’t even begin to figure out how all these pieces will fit together. Why are Barry and Oliver swapping superhero suits? Why is Supes in black? And just how does Kate Kane factor into everything? Those, among others, are the questions we have, and unfortunately, even despite the barrage of set pics and videos we’ve been seeing, we’re still no closer to getting any answers.

But rest assured, everything will make sense soon enough, as this fall’s Arrowverse crossover begins on Sunday, December 9 with The Flash, continues on Monday, December 10 with Arrow, and wraps up on Tuesday, December 11 with Supergirl.
