The New Green Arrow Returns In Latest Promo

Upon viewing tonight's episode of Arrow, "Crossing Lines," I couldn't help once again thinking how different of a show it's become. Really, it's like a completely different series than what we've been watching since 2012. Still, it's making for some edge-of-your-seat television, so that's a plus, I guess.

And as we continue, you can expect for Oliver Queen to get into some even deeper shit next week when he goes further into the belly of the beast. Of course, we’re talking about Level Two at Slabside, where he hopes to confront this mysterious “Demon” fella we’ve just started hearing about. Early impressions say he has nothing to do with Ra’s al Ghul, but one can certainly hope.

Also of key interest is the return of the new Green Arrow in town, something the trailer embedded at the top of this article seemingly promises. Seeing as how this guy hasn’t been heard from very much since the premiere, I, for one, can’t wait to find out what lies ahead – and if indeed he ends up eventually being unmasked as Roy Harper or someone else entirely.

As always, it’s encouraged that you keep watching this space because there’s a good chance of the network coughing up a gallery of preview images in the next few days. And if recent history is any indicator, we may end up receiving some goodies that the trailer didn’t even touch upon.

In the meantime, though, be sure to check out the official synopsis for “Level Two” if you require more info:

RULES ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN — Oliver (Stephen Amell) makes a drastic move in his quest to find Diaz (Kirk Acevedo). Like her husband, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) pulls out all the stops to get to Diaz. Meanwhile, when arsonists target Rene’s (Rick Gonzalez) community center, injuring Zoe (guest star Eliza Faria) in the process, the mysterious new Green Arrow swoops in to help save the day. Faced with pressure from the mayor to capture the vigilante, Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) must decide if following the rules at all costs is the best plan to keep the city safe. Ben Bray directed the episode written by Emilio Ortega Aldrich & Tonya Kong (#704).

Arrow airs on Monday nights on The CW.
