This is just one of the many ways in which fans, companies, and celebrities have chosen to pay tribute to Lee. For further examples, The Hollywood Reporter published several full-page ads remembering the man, including posters from various film studios, DC Comics, and even the original six leads from 2012’s The Avengers.

Speaking of which, the Phase 1 cast were also among the many to take to social media with their remembrances. Chris Hemsworth, for instance, shared a message thanking Lee for “the incredible adventures your stories took all of us on.” Meanwhile, Chris Evans praised the late publisher for how he “provided both young and old with adventure, escape, comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship and joy,” whereas Mark Ruffalo tweeted that Lee’s work “let us be extra human… superhuman even.” Relative MCU newcomer Chadwick Boseman, on the other hand, recently chose to send the man to the other side with a little drumming.

Needless to say, Stan Lee has left a profound mark on both the page and the screen, and so long as new stories keep being told with the world and the characters he helped create, his legacy will surely endure.
