The actor known for Chuck and the Thor movies shared an image of some text that recalled his recent experience braving the ocean, before admitting that Arthur Curry has him beat:

“I have recently gotten my scuba certification, and did about 5 dives over the holiday break. Now, after having seen @aquamanmovie, I have never in my life been more jealous of Arthur’s superpowers. Congrats to [Jason Momoa] et al on their huge success. Now help me talk to fishies pleeeaaassse!”

In the caption, Levi invites actor Jason Momoa to “go for a deep-dive swim. Tridents optional.”

Of course, Levi isn’t the only member of the Shazam! team to have some kind words to say about the DCEU’s latest release, with director David F. Sandberg also taking to social media last month to declare that Aquaman has “some of the most spectacular action and visuals ever!” And while you could certainly accuse Levi and Sandberg of having a vested interest in hyping up the new DC movie, a recent tweet from Marvel Comics editor-in-chief C. B. Cebulski also offered similar praise, with the writer claiming, “the spectacle of it all made me feel like a kid in the theater.”

Much to Wan’s disappointment, the Academy wasn’t quite so impressed by the film’s visuals, but it’s clear nonetheless that Arthur Curry’s solo debut has a lot of support behind it, and the box office figures reflect this. So far, Aquaman’s global gross sits at $978.2 million, with the movie expected to cross the $1 billion mark over the weekend. At this rate, Warner Bros. will be all too keen to get a sequel into cinemas, but before we learn what’s next for Arthur, Levi will get his time in the spotlight when Shazam! hits theaters on April 5th, 2019.
