Something like reloading your weapon may seem pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but when so many encounters come down to split second decisions, anything you can do to improve your reload time will help. And that’s where this nifty new trick comes in.

As those who play Apex Legends frequently will know, a lot of the guns don’t have very large clips and getting caught in the middle of a reload could mean death. Therefore, a YouTube user has shared a neat shortcut he found for achieving quicker reloads, and you can see it for yourself down below.

So, it’s not the most innovative trick, but as this person demonstrates, if you leave at least one bullet in the clip instead of simply letting it run dry, the reload time is a lot faster. Again, it may not seem like something that should be at the top of your list to remember in the midst of a heated fight, but this video clearly shows a noticeable difference in the reload and you’d be wise to at least start practicing this method instead of just letting your clip empty out.

We know we certainly will, and with more and more people getting sucked deeper and deeper into Apex Legends as the weeks go on, we imagine a lot more helpful hints and tricks will surface. But in the meantime, if you have any of your own, feel free to share them with us down below.
