We’re in the midst of what’s shaping up to be a surprisingly busy morning for MCU fans, with Marvel unveiling both a new trailer and a new poster for Avengers: Endgame.

As with any footage released from the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War sequel, the latest two-and-half-minute preview has given the internet a whole lot to process, and you can expect the forums to continue flooding with theories and observations in the coming days. But for now, let’s just take a moment to consider the first impressions on Twitter. With Marvel offering no prior warning that the latest and potentially final trailer was about to drop, it only figures that the fans are freaking out:

Of course, with Endgame looking to be the last MCU outing for more than one beloved character, the new trailer also serves as a reminder that we’re probably in for a few heroic deaths:

On the bright side, at least Iron Man seems to have made it back to Earth in one piece, though whether or not he lives to see the end of the movie is another matter:

Speaking of deaths, Ant-Man is surely in for some depressing news once he escapes from the Quantum Realm, while Thanos’ post-genocide retirement is unlikely to go as planned:

As one final stinger, the preview offers our first trailer footage of Captain Marvel sharing the screen with her fellow heroes, and it looks like fans are already keen to see more:

For the rest of the week, fans will no doubt be scrutinizing the new footage on a frame by frame level and presenting all kinds of outlandish theories on what they find. But regardless of where the speculation takes us, it’s not long now until Avengers: Endgame puts an end to all the guesswork when it arrives in theaters on April 26th.
