New Arrow Photos Tease What’s To Come For Blackstar In Star City 2040

When the first promo dropped for next week's episode of Arrow, "Star City 2040," it became apparent that the Powers That Be are holding their cards close to the vest. Then again, that's something we've grown used to over the course of the current season because there's been more secrecy surrounding the series as of late than ever before.

But whereas the aforementioned trailer more so teased Mia Smoak’s upbringing, the images released by the network focus on what’s actually going down in 2040. Because of that, I doubt we’ll see anything of whatever’s been unfolding in 2019 involving Oliver, Emiko and Dante, with that probably being saved for “Inheritance” on March 25th.

As we examine the gallery below, I can’t even begin to guess why Mia, Connor Hawke and the rest of the gang are dressed like they’re living out a scenario from Eyes Wide Shut. But if anything’s for certain, it’s that their goal is to get to the bottom of Felicity’s disappearance and alleged murder.

Speaking of Connor, I’m hoping that we see some hint to him becoming the Green Arrow of the future since he’s played by the same actor who featured in Legends of Tomorrow‘s “Star City 2046.” Hey, if that Blackstar spinoff ends up happening, then I couldn’t think of a better co-star.
