Yesterday saw the release of a brand new poster for the Avengers: Infinity War sequel, and while sharing the image via Instagram, Hemsworth offered this shy little tease:

“A little side project I made over the summer with a few of my mates, should be fun, check it out, in cinemas April 26”

Of course, he knows and we know that Endgame is just about the furthest thing from a “little side project” that we’ll be seeing in cinemas this year. Late last month, Researcher Exhibitor Relations even projected a domestic opening weekend haul of $282 million, which would break the record held by Infinity War for biggest North American opening of all time.

Given the ongoing hype around the trailer that dropped yesterday, it’s likely that forecasts will remain similarly generous in the coming weeks. Among the various highlights from the preview, perhaps the moment to get the biggest social media response was the clip of Thor opposite Carol Danvers, who’s currently in the midst of her own successful run in theaters with the new Captain Marvel.

Before this week, the MCU’s most powerful hero had yet to show up in any of Endgame’s promotional footage, but in a post-title stinger in the latest preview, Thor got to offer his appraisal of the new arrival: “I like this one.” It was a moment that seemed to push the internet’s Avengers: Endgame hype to a whole other level, but we’ll find out what else is in store for the God of Thunder and his peers when the film hits theaters on April 26th.
