New Avengers: Endgame Poster Confirms The Return Of Three More Characters

It goes without saying that Avengers: Endgame will likely be the biggest movie of the year, but the reveal of yesterday's trailer certainly helped remind True Believers that the ensemble flick is on its way. On top of that, Marvel Studios decided to roll out a new poster for said movie. Yes, it’s the same one that had to be edited so that it’d include Danai Gurira, but it’s worth mentioning that the stunning piece also confirmed the appearances of three other supporting characters.

In the credits at the very bottom, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jon Favreau and Benedict Wong were each listed, therefore we know they’ll be reprising their respective roles as Pepper Potts, Happy Hogan and Wong. Those up to date on the MCU are aware of how the former two have been mainstays since the first Iron Man picture, whereas the latter arrived on the scene in 2016’s Doctor Strange. Whether or not he gets criticized yet again for making an early exit as he did in Infinity War remains to be seen, though.

If you’re going to bring up some glaring omissions, it’s probably best to know that Disney is leaving any actor who played an Avenger dusted by Thanos out of the film’s marketing. Now, that doesn’t mean they’re not showing up. It’s just that they’re trying to avoid spoilers and are preserving the mystique surrounding the blockbuster – but in the end, we all know that mostly everyone will be resurrected because Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther and the Guardians of the Galaxy all have sequels in the pipeline.

Of course, all will be revealed when Avengers: Endgame arrives in theaters on April 26th, and as always, it’s advised that you keep watching this space as more develops.
