Avengers: Endgame Trailer

New Avengers: Endgame Trailer Was Viewed 268 Million Times In 24 Hours

Marvel has revealed some staggering viewing numbers for the latest Avengers: Endgame trailer, and they indicate a huge box office tally come next month.

If there was ever any doubt in your mind that Avengers: Endgame may fall short of the $2 billion mark at the global box office, let it be known that the film’s most recent trailer racked up a whopping 268 million views in its first 24 hours of being online.

Dropping totally out of the blue this past Thursday, the preview may not have smashed the record held by the first teaser – 289 million – but 268 million views for a second (third, if you count the Super Bowl TV spot) trailer is still absolutely incredible and only goes to show just how massive this film really is.

And again, with that many people watching the trailer – and rewatching it over and over again – it paints a pretty promising picture for those all important box office numbers. At the moment, analysts are predicting a $282 million opening on home turf, with Endgame then expected to go on to earn just north of $2 billion.

After all, Infinity War crossed $2 billion last year and given the whopper of a cliffhanger it left us on, we imagine everyone who saw it will be eager to see how the story’s resolved. Not to mention the fact that with Marvel keeping almost everything about the upcoming sequel under wraps, folks are no doubt curious to find out what the Phase 3 finale has to offer.

Despite the fact that we’ve seen two trailers and a TV spot, we still know almost nothing about Avengers: Endgame‘s plot, and while some may complain that the studio is being too secretive, the fact that they’re holding back so much is surely only helping to heighten the anticipation surrounding the film.

But we digress. At 268 million views in 24 hours, it’s abundantly clear that Marvel is sitting on a box office behemoth and we can’t wait to see it for ourselves next month.
