Marvel Fans Don’t Want Another Avengers: Endgame Trailer

Every time Marvel shares a new batch of footage from Avengers: Endgame, the internet loses its mind all over again. But now that we’ve had two trailers and one TV spot, many fans are ready to wait until the film’s actual release to see more.

Every time Marvel shares a new batch of footage from Avengers: Endgame, the internet loses its mind all over again. But now that we’ve had two trailers and one TV spot, many fans are ready to wait until the film’s actual release to see more.

The preview that dropped last week for the Avengers: Infinity War sequel is generally expected to be the last full trailer for Endgame, but with a recent Twitter post, Marvel Studios Digital Marketing VP Dustin Sandoval posed the question if people would still care for another. And while it wasn’t too long ago that fans were clamoring for their first bit of footage, the consensus now seems to be that they’ve seen enough, even if what they’ve seen has actually told them very little about the film:

One commenter made the interesting suggestion that instead of releasing another proper trailer, Marvel Studios could share a video recapping the MCU’s first eleven years, in order to help out fans who don’t have time revisit the first twenty-one movies:

Others seemed utterly torn on whether or not they needed another trailer, simultaneously craving new footage while wanting to go into the movie knowing as little as possible:

This feeling of wanting to see more and not wanting to see more will no doubt be relatable to many an MCU fan, though it’s not long now before they can put such inner conflict to rest. In the meantime, we can probably expect the odd TV spot to emerge with a little fresh footage, but for the most part, Marvel will be saving their biggest reveals for when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th.
