New Photos From Legends Of Tomorrow’s Midseason Premiere Arrive

Now that Black Lightning has concluded its second season though, the Waverider crew are free to resume their own adventures. In fact, it looks like John Constantine, Sara Lance, Mick Rory and the rest of the gang will waste little time getting into the zany mischief we’ve come to expect.

Speaking of which, Lucha Libre will serve as the backdrop for the midseason premiere, though I doubt anyone will be on the receiving end of a Mexican Destroyer (the event our heroes are attending does take place in 1961, after all). If you’d like to see for yourself, the pro wrestling element does factor into a few images contained in the gallery found below.

From the look of it, Mona’s hairy boyfriend is on the loose and could’ve very well found himself in the main event of said spectacle. Hey, why else wouldn’t they show us who’s in the ring and tease us with a concerned Mona looking on from the crowd? I hope this is the last we see of this needless romance, but I doubt it.

For more on “Lucha De Apuestas,” be sure to check out the official synopsis:

BELIEVE IT OR NOT — When the Legends hear that Mona (Ramona Young) has let a fugitive go, they must head to 1961 Mexico City to clean up her mess. Mona tries to convince the Legends and the Bureau that the people responsible for releasing the fugitive were some mysterious Men in Black and not her. With no evidence to back up her theory, the Legends must decide if they should trust her and go against the Bureau. Meanwhile, Nate (Nick Zano) and Zari (Tala Ashe) go on a recon mission to find out what Hank (guest star Tom Wilson) might be hiding from everyone. Caity Lotz, Matt Ryan, Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell, Jes Macallan and Maisie Richardson-Sellers also star. Andrew Kasch directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & Tyron B. Carter (#409). Original airdate 4/1/2019.

Legends of Tomorrow returns with new episodes on Monday, April 1st on The CW. Don’t forget, it’s swapping timeslots with Arrow, so be sure to set your DVR accordingly.
