First Annabelle Comes Home Trailer Arriving In The Next Few Days

According to the folks over at Trailer-Track, the very first trailer for Annabelle Comes Home is on the way and should be here next week.

Though James Wan has been venturing away from the genre that made his name, the Conjuring helmsman still has one foot in the cinematic universe he helped create, with the director holding a producer credit on the upcoming Annabelle Comes Home.

Though the first two outings in the Conjuring spinoff trilogy traveled progressively further back in the timeline, showing us the demonic doll’s story before she came into the hands of Lorraine and Ed Warren, the recently wrapped third entry will find Annabelle stirring up trouble in the couple’s artifacts room, with Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson both set to reprise their roles as the two paranormal investigators.

With that in mind, it definitely sounds like the threequel has more ties to the Conjuring films than the previous two Annabelle flicks did, and we’ll finally get a look at how it’ll all come together quite soon, as Trailer-Track reports that the first preview for Annabelle Comes Home should be with us in the next 7 days. No exact date was given, but we imagine it’ll be here on time to play in theaters with Pet Sematary, which hits on April 5th.

As for what we can expect to see, well, we know that the focus of the drama will be on Ed and Lorraine’s daughter Judy, played by Mckenna Grace. Along with her babysitter Mary Ellen, portrayed by Madison Iseman, the young girl will have to contend with the evil that awakens in the artifacts room. The film has in the past been pitched as the horror version of Night at the Museum, which suggests that Annabelle probably won’t be the only object that brings some terror into the fold.

With a few demonic friends potentially at her side, we’ll soon see just how much havoc the titular doll can wreak when Annabelle Comes Home arrives in cinemas on June 28th. After that, the spotlight will turn back towards Judy’s parents for The Conjuring 3, which is locked in for September 11th, 2020.
