In Game of Thrones, Winterfell has transformed into the last line of defense against the invading White Walkers, whereas Tony Stark (no relation, insofar as we can tell) looks set to spearhead the ultimate counter-attack against Thanos.

Yes, Avengers: Endgame is almost upon us (our review), and its mere presence has reduced the Internet to a lawless frontier riddled with spoilers and play-by-play breakdowns. Okay, maybe we’re being a little dramatic, but the point stands: Marvel fans will be forced to walk on eggshells, and perhaps even accept a temporary social media blackout, if they are to avoid everything related to Avengers: Endgame.

Thankfully, Tony Stark himself, Robert Downey Jr., is here to help. Over on Twitter, the MCU figurehead posted what is perhaps the perfect spoiler warning as we approach Endgame weekend.

“So, you want to spoil Endgame…” Think twice before you do – just as he did before the arrival of Infinity War, Thanos demands our silence. Even directors Joe and Anthony Russo have gone on record to urge viewers not to spoil Endgame and its many twists and turns, just as they wouldn’t want it spoiled for themselves.

Because let’s face it; this is a special, special movie. It’s the culmination of a 22-picture saga and a fitting send-off to some of the most beloved characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Frankly, we’ll never see another movie like it, so enjoy every minute – all 181 of them.

Avengers: Endgame is just now beginning its theatrical rollout – sans post-credits scene, mind you – and box office analysts expect the Marvel movie extravaganza to surpass $800 million worldwide before the weekend is out.
