Spider-Man-Far-From-Home-3

Spider-Man: Far From Home Has Officially Been Rated

While other Marvel Cinematic Universe films are certainly more memorable or exciting, Spider-Man: Far From Home is shaping up to be one of the franchise’s most interesting movies. Taking place after Avengers: Endgame, the next MCU outing directly addresses a handful of the series’ most important events, including the tragic death of Iron Man, and the consequences of the Multiverse, which was inadvertently created when Thanos harnessed the power of the Infinity Stones.

Serving as the end of Phase 3, bridging the gap to the next era of the MCU, it’s safe to say that fans from all over will be flocking to theaters in a few weeks to see Spidey in action. In fact, Hollywood analysts have already predicted the film will rake in around $120 million when it opens in early July, an estimate that could balloon considering Far From Home releases on the Tuesday before the 4th of July long weekend.

In fact, you might be glad to hear that, regardless of your age, you likely won’t run into any issues when it comes to watching it in theaters. As reported by MCU Cosmic, the Motion Picture Association of America has officially handed the pic a PG-13 rating for sci-fi action violence, some language, and brief suggestive comments.

Of course, this should come as no surprise for longtime fans. In fact, the last few films in the franchise (Captain Marvel, Avengers: Infinity War, Endgame, Ant-Man and the Wasp) all received PG-13 designations as well. With an official rating on the books, this also means that Spider-Man: Far From Home has officially ended post-production, and a final cut has been locked down for distribution. So now, all we have to do is sit tight for just a few more weeks and then we’ll finally be able to take in the final Phase 3 movie.
