Mortal Kombat 11 Leak Reveals Evil Dead’s Ash Williams As DLC

Mortal Kombat 11 has sprung several massive leaks, it seems. The latest entry in NetherRealm's gore-laden franchise was treated to a white-hot reception when it launched back in April, not least for its expansive roster consisting of equal parts old and new faces. Indeed, fans have been spoilt for choice when it comes to picking and sticking with a main, a decision made infinitely harder thanks to each contender's unique abilities and moveset.

With a shelf life planned to stretch multiple years, though, there’s certainly no rush. Especially as there are still several spots left to be filled. The first of those blank slots are scheduled to be taken by longtime series villain Shang Tsung tomorrow, leaving just five more. Sindel and Nightwolf are already confirmed to be rounding out those reserved for returning MK veterans, with the remaining three dedicated to housing guest characters.

Spawn is first, of course, but while we’ve been awaiting a gameplay debut for Todd McFarlane’s popular anti-hero, several leaks appear to have outed the final two. A leak that surfaced yesterday provided solid evidence of James Cameron’s Terminator making the cut, but that’s not all that the internet has inadvertently let slip.

Mimicking the aforementioned leak to a tee, it now seems all but confirmed that Evil Dead‘s Ash Williams will be nabbing the sixth and final spot later this year. The revelation is hardly surprising, of course, what with series star Bruce Campbell having teased the crossover himself previously, but it’s nonetheless nice to have as close to 100% confirmation without NetherRealm acknowledging as such.

Anyway, all that’s left now is to patiently await gameplay reveals for all of Mortal Kombat 11‘s upcoming guest appearances. Let us know in the usual place below though which visitor you’re most excited to see in action.
