You may have already seen the images of a red Sith Trooper that surfaced a few days ago. This new type of foe was rumored long before the photos made their way online, and now that we’ve seen the outfit with our own eyes, we’re keen to learn what role this stylish goon might play in the action. Will they be just as disposable and easy to kill as the regular Stormtroopers? Or do Rey, Finn and the rest of the Resistance have a genuine threat on their hands?

Only time will tell, but for now, you can feast your eyes on this latest image of Hasbro’s Sith Trooper figure, which shows the soldier with a new pair of tools. In his right hand is a blade similar to the weapons wielded by the Praetorian Guards. In his left hand is a strange contraption that the fans over on Reddit have likened to a reaching aid, a trash picker and the axe carried by the executioner in The Last Jedi.

Perhaps we can get a little more context to this design from SDCC, though we wouldn’t bank on learning too much from next weekend’s event, seeing how Lucasfilm doesn’t have a panel. In all likelihood, we’ll be getting some bigger reveals at next month’s D23 Expo, though we won’t know the full story until Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20th.
