It: Chapter Two Trailer

New It: Chapter Two Trailer Is The Stuff Nightmares Are Made Of

With less than two months until it hits the big screen, fans have been wondering exactly when a second trailer for It: Chapter Two would see the light of day. Rest assured, Warner Bros. and New Line haven't forgotten about the horror junkies out there. In fact, it seems the studios were simply waiting for San Diego Comic-Con to roll around before dropping some fresh footage, having teased us yesterday with a new (and not to mention creepy) poster.

Yes, earlier this morning, another trailer hit the web, giving us a more in-depth look at what we can expect to see come September. Unlike the first footage that arrived a couple of months back – which focused solely on Beverly Marsh – this clip is decidedly more well-rounded, featuring most of the film’s cast and characters and teasing the horror to come when Pennywise returns. You can check it out up above for yourself but believe us when we say this is going to be one creepy sequel.

While It: Chapter Two will see the Losers Club return to Derry, the movie is set 27 years after the first, with Bill, Ben, Beverly, Richie, Stanly, Mike, and Eddie returning home to finally put an end to It once and for all. While the child actors that graced the big screen two years ago will definitely be back, this new film will focus on the so-called “adult Losers,” with James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain and Bill Hader joining the cast. And of course, Bill Skarsgård makes a return as Pennywise the Clown, with Andy Muschietti coming back as director.

All things considered, then, there’s a ton of exciting talent on board and we’re hopeful that they’ll be able to deliver on the high expectations set by the first film when It: Chapter Two creeps into theaters on September 6th. The only question that remains is, are you ready to float again?
