Stranger Things Season 4 To Shoot This October

According to Production Weekly, Stranger Things season 4 is set to begin shooting this October, which may mean we'll see it sooner than we thought.

In recent years, Stranger Things has become increasingly important for Netflix.

Not only is it one of the streaming service’s most-watched television shows, but it’s also an exclusive – a precious USP in an age where Amazon Prime and the upcoming Disney Plus are offering up some heavy competition for the platform. So, while we’ve heard reports that the fourth season of Stranger Things may be its last, we also wouldn’t be too surprised to see Netflix change its mind and order up a fifth installment to keep the gravy train on track, so to speak.

Whatever happens, we know that we’re for sure getting at least one more run, and apparently, it’ll head into production this October. That’s according to the always reliable Production Weekly, who say that the streaming giant is targeting a fall shoot for the fourth season, meaning it may be with us sooner than we thought. Then again, Netflix has yet to make any kind of official announcement about their plans for future episodes so at this point, all we can do is speculate.

In any case, it’s good to know that the company is already getting the gears into motion, as fans are beyond eager for more of the show. After all, season 3 was pretty explosive, leaving a few unresolved cliffhangers that we need answers to. Not to mention that we’d all love to know if Hopper’s still alive.

Unfortunately, it’ll probably be some time before we find out for sure, but all three seasons of Stranger Things are now on Netflix, so if you haven’t caught up on the nostalgia-fueled gem yet, there’s still plenty of time to do so before the next, and possibly final, chapter in the saga arrives.
