We also got a teaser comprised of clips from the 2018 Halloween re-launch, including a shot of Michael Myers supposedly meeting his fiery end trapped in the basement of Laurie Strode’s rural home. Yet, we now know that the terrifying Shape has apparently survived, as the teaser claims that “The saga of Michael Myers and Laurie Strode isn’t over.”

Last month, it was revealed that director David Gordon Green had written a follow up to 2018’s box office hit, but it was unknown if he’d be involved in any other manner of production. Now we know that not only will he return to helm the picture, but that the bulk of the production team is coming along for the ride, including producer Jason Blum, writer Danny McBride, and creator/composer John Carpenter.

Also returning is star Jamie Lee Curtis, reprising her decades-old role of Laurie Strode. Curtis was the MVP of last year’s film and along with the teaser, the actress tweeted the following this morning:

“It ain’t over till the fat lady sings.” Well, my friends and fans….I’m just WARMING UP.

While it’s too early tell what the Halloween sequels will be about, it’s very likely that they’ll follow Strode, her daughter Karen (Judy Greer), and her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) in the wake of Michael’s violent attack on Haddonfield, Illinois, including the numerous slayings of their friends and loved ones. Considering Halloween Kills is just a little over a year away from release, we’ll surely find out more details on it and Halloween Ends very soon, so stay tuned.
