With all the trailers coming out of San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, I’m sure there’s a good chance you could be refreshing your browser looking for something pertaining to Titans‘ second season. At the moment, we can’t present to you that specific preview, but we do have a nice consolation prize in the meantime.

Thanks to Titans Brasil on Twitter, we have a couple screenshots taken from the video presentation at SDCC for you to look over. As you can see in the gallery found below, the first is that of Esai Morales’ Deathstoke, who’s looking pretty badass in a costume that I surmise was derived from the design made known by comic book artist Tony S. Daniel.

For good measure, we’ve thrown in an additional slide as well, with this one showing a few members of the team heading into action. Based on what I’m seeing, they’re Robin, Hawk, Dove, Aqualad and someone I presume to be Donna Troy (she’s mostly out of frame here). Strangely enough, it looks like Dick Grayson is once again suiting up as Robin, so I’m firmly crossing my fingers hoping he does evolve into Nightwing sooner rather than later.

Getting back to Deathstroke, it’s worth mentioning how he’ll indeed be season 2’s big bad. In fact, it’s been said that Marv Wolfman and George Perez’s The Judas Contract will serve as the basis for the next stretch of programming. Plus, Slade Wilson’s children, Ravager and Jericho, will also be along for the ride.

Titans returns with new episodes on Friday, September 6th on DC Universe. For more, be sure to check out our review of season 1’s Blu-ray set. After you’re done there, keep watching this space as more develops.
