More Pokémon Sword And Shield Reveals Coming This Week

Will Pokémon Sword and Shield be the best entries the series has ever seen? Not until November 15th rolls around and Pokéfans finally get their hands on either version will we know for sure, but all the early signs point to the answer being a resounding yes. Controversy surrounding the lack of a National Pokédex aside, everything so-far revealed by Game Freak has more than proven that its ambitions for these latest installments know no bounds.

Rather than rest on its laurels (as it has been accused of doing in the past), the developer has conjured up a smorgasbord of brand new features to debut in the Galar region, the headline attraction undoubtedly being Dynamaxing. Joined by pseudo-evolutions in the form of Gigantamaxing as well as the sprawling Wild area, Sword and Shield‘s pre-release hype campaign has shown no signs of slowing down and best of all? There’s still plenty more to come.

As per a recent update provided by encyclopedic Pokémon fansite Serebii, The Pokémon Company plans to unveil even more information this week for Trainers worldwide.

What these upcoming announcements will contain is anyone’s guess, though, given the wording, a batch of brand new Pokémon reveals could well be on the cards. At the very least, an expansion to Sword and Shield‘s collection of Galarian Pokémon – new and revised forms of existing ‘Mons – looks likely, as so far, only three have been shown to the public.

We’ve ultimately no choice but to wait with bated breath for Game Freak to feed our hunger for any and all details but worry not – there’s plenty to keep you occupied in the meantime. Whether it’s exploration or fiercely-competitive battles that best describe your endgame desires for any Pokémon title, we’ve got you covered.
