What in the world is going on in Gotham?

New photos from the set of The Dark Knight Rises were revealed today, and they’re not pretty. Gotham is engaged in full-out war, and I’m not sure who we’re supposed to be rooting for. It looks like it’s Bane (Tom Hardy) and the corrupted citizens of Gotham (at least if you believe the rumors) vs. Batman (Christian Bale) and the police. We won’t know for sure until July.
Though this turn of events looks awesome, it’s also nice to get such a clear look at the film, which I guess is the nice thing about filming in New York City instead of Pittsburgh.
These photos have convinced me that The Dark Knight Rises is going to be an epic, all-out brawl, and I couldn’t be more excited. What about you?
