Sam Worthington And Robin Wright Join Everest
After receiving a bit of a delay last week, Universal has added two more exciting names to Baltasar Kormakur's upcoming Everest. Joining a cast that already boasts Josh Brolin, John Hawkes and Jake Gyllenhaal, among others, are Sam Worthington and Robin Wright. Detailing the true story of a 1996 attempt to scale the titular summit that ended in disaster, the film is currently set for a September 18th, 2015 release date.

Dwayne Johnson Sports Long Hair In First Images From Hercules

Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson is in talks to play Johnny Depp's love interest in the upcoming White Bulger biopic, Black Mass. Directed by Scott Cooper, the project is on the fast track over at Warner Bros., with Joel Edgerton co-starring as FBI agent John Connolly and Guy Pearce set for the role of Bill Bulger, Whitey's brother.

Brad Pitt Wanted For True Detective Season 2?
With season one of True Detective now in the books, all focus turns towards HBO and who they will find to replace the crew that made the series' first outing so memorable. In case you didn't know, stars Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey will not be returning, and neither will director Cary Fukunaga. We haven't heard anything official yet on who might be taking over for those three aforementioned talents, but this week an interesting, albeit probably false, rumor has surfaced.

Anthony Mackie In Talks For Triple Nine

Andy Serkis Will Direct The Jungle Book For Warner Bros.
In case you're unaware, competing film adaptations of The Jungle Book are currently in production. One is at Warner Bros. and the other is at Disney. While the mouse house has Jon Favreau directing and Idris Elba voicing Shere Khan, the WB version seemed to have stalled for a bit. Director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu was initially locked in to helm the project but he departed shortly after his involvement was announced. We then heard that Ron Howard was in the mix to replace him but now, a report is surfacing from Heat Vision that tells us the studio has gone with Andy Serkis.

Patton Oswalt Will Guest Star On Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is in trouble, facing struggling ratings and a declining audience. The producers need to do something soon to shake things up or the once promising show may find itself off the air. Now, in an effort to turn things around, Marvel is bringing on Patton Oswalt to guest star. Yup, that's apparently the best they can do.
