Wolverine Will Eventually Be Recast, Says Hugh Jackman
After 14 years of playing Wolverine, it's hard to imagine anyone but Hugh Jackman in the role. At age 45 though, he won't be able to continue on for much longer. The actor has maybe another five to seven years left where he can still pull off the part and, eventually, he'll have to be recast. It's unfortunate, but as Jackman himself says, it's "inevitable." After all, Fox won't just stop making X-Men movies because Jackman is too old to star in them. There's way too much money to be made off the franchise for that to happen.

James Mangold In Talks To Helm The Deep Blue Good-By
Deadline is reporting that The Wolverine helmer James Mangold is now in talks for an adaptation of The Deep Blue Good-By, based on the novel of the same name by John D. MacDonald. Originally set to star Leonardo DiCaprio (who has since departed but will still produce), the film will tell the story of Travis McGee, a "beach bum gumshoe" who often takes on jobs as a "salvage consultant" when he's strapped for cash.

Jupiter Ascending International Trailer Takes Us Further Into Space
Say what you will about Lana and Andy Wachowski, but I don't agree with the common sentiment that they haven't made a good film since The Matrix. I'll admit that Speed Racer wasn't their finest hour, but it still had a lot of things to admire. Cloud Atlas, however, was every bit as impressive as The Matrix and I'm stunned that it wasn't able to find the same success. Now, the Wachowski siblings are bringing us Jupiter Ascending, which once again looks to be another ambitious sci-fi film that will likely divide critics right down the middle.

The foul comedy stars Jude Law as the titular character who, after spending several years in prison, is finally released and sets out to collect the money that's owed to him.

Fox Acquires Cold Comfort (aka How to Catch a Russian Spy) For Marc Webb
20th Century Fox has acquired Cold Comfort (aka How to Catch a Russian Spy) today for director Marc Webb to helm. Based on the yet-to-be-published novel of the same name by Ellis Henican, the project is said to be a star vehicle for "a comic actor in the vein of Jonah Hill." The comedic spy flick will tell the true story of an average everyday U.S. citizen who taught himself how to be a spy and worked with the FBI to bring down a Russian intelligence officer.
