Two New Thor Posters
Not much to say here but I figured you poster junkies may like to take a peek at the two new awesome posters that were released today for Marvel's upcoming film Thor. With the marketing campaign for the film heating up, you can expect this release to be huge. I know there are people who haven't been happy with the trailers that we've seen but personally, I'm still on board with this one. I really don't know much about Thor, having never read the comic books. But from what I've seen so far, I'm impressed. I was a fan of the Iron Man films (even if the second one wasn't that great) and I don't think this one will be too far off from that.

Kung Fu Panda 2 Trailer
Paramount has released a full trailer for Kung Fu Panda 2 today. Opening May 27th, the film stars Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Seth Rogen, Gary Oldman, Dustin Hoffman and David Cross. Being a fan of the first film, I'm looking forward to this one. The cast is great and Dreamworks is usually pretty dependable when it comes to animated films. The first film received fairly positive reviews and it looks like Dreamworks is cooking up a similar movie with Kung Fu Panda 2. I'm excited to see how it turns out and how it will compete with the superb animated films we've been seeing recently, such as Toy Story 3, Despicable Me etc.

New Trailers For Water For Elephants And Dylan Dog: Dead Of Night
Today we see the release of two new trailers. One for Dylan Dog: Dead Of Night and the other for Water For Elephants. Dylan Dog: Dead Of Night stars Brandon Routh, Sam Huntington, Taye Diggs, Peter Stormare and wrestler Kurt Angle. The film is based on an Italian horror comic book series. Kevin Munroe directs the supernatural thriller which has Dylan Dog, a world famous private investigator, investigating a dangerous artifact that involves zombies, werewolves and vampires. I don't think the film looks particularly good but apparently the comic book that it's based on has a huge following and is universally loved/praised. For that reason alone, I'd probably check it out. Give the trailer a peek and see what you think.

Trent Reznor To Score And Star In Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
Coming off an Oscar win for his work on The Social Network, Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor has found his next project. He is now attached to the film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. In addition to scoring the film, he will also have a role in the film, playing one of the vampires who kills Lincoln's mom. The Timur Bekmambetov film will star Benjamin Walker, Anthony Mackie, Dominic Cooper and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Set for a June 22, 2012 release date, the film is based on Seth Grahame-Smith's novel of the same name.

Diane Lane Joins Superman
The next piece of the puzzle in Zack Snyder's upcoming Superman film has fallen into place. Diane Lane has joined the film and will play the role of Martha Kent, Clark's mother. Snyder spoke about the casting choice and said that "this was a very important piece of casting for me because Martha Kent is the woman whose values helped shape the man we know as Superman. We are thrilled to have Diane in the role because she can convey the wisdom and the wonder of a woman whose son has powers beyond her imagination."

Black Death Review
Going into Black Death, I didn't have very high hopes. With no big name stars leading the cast, and a medieval times based plot, my expectations weren't particularly high. Surprisingly though, it wasn't all that bad. It likely won't garner much box office success, and you probably won't be talking about it for too long after you see it, but for a one time watch, it's somewhat satisfying and kind of enjoyable.

Happythankyoumoreplease Review
Happythankyoumoreplease. It's a film you may not have heard of, but a film you should still see nonetheless. Despite the strange and annoying title (which is actually explained in the film), it's actually quite a good movie. It has some quirky characters, genuine situations and it's truly charming. The film reminds me a lot of 500 Days of Summer, another movie I enjoyed. Written by, directed by and starring How I Met Your Mother's Josh Radnor, Happythankyoumoreplease is a refreshing, uplifting and immensely enjoyable film that features some great performances. Boasting a relatable and accessible script, Happythankyoumoreplease tells the story of Sam (Josh Radnor), a writer in New York who is having trouble trying to sell his first manuscript. One day while riding the subway, he sees a young boy get separated from his mother. Being the good person he is, Sam goes to help the kid. When he offers to take him to the police station to find his mom, the boy explains that he is foster care and he doesn't want to go back. Feeling bad, Sam decides to take the kid home and care for him, until he can find another place for the boy to go. Eventually the two grow close and neither want to leave each other's side.

New Battlefield 3 Trailer Will Blow Your Mind
EA has released a new trailer for the hype train that is Battlefield 3. The trailer shows off nearly 3 minutes of gameplay and aside from looking shockingly real, it also looks like it may really be a "Call of Duty killer." I don't think I'd be too far off in saying it's one of the best looking games we've ever seen. If this trailer is truly representative of the full game then I think the Call of Duty franchise may be in trouble. Perhaps it is finally EA's turn to take over as the king of first person shooters.
