The popular video streaming site Twitch is asking users to keep their clothes on - and to avoid wearing anything too suggestible - while on webcam. Streamers who are not prepared to comply with this ruling could have their channel suspended.
We recently reported on the indie game Paranautical Activity being pulled from Steam after one of its developers threatened to kill Valve CEO Gabe Newell over Twitter. Since then, the person behind the threats, Mike Maulbeck - co-owner of Code Avarice - has stepped down from the company, selling his half of the business to another employee.
It appears the tide of sending death threats over Twitter is still quite strong, as Valve recently removed a game from Steam after Gabe Newell received death threats from one of its developers. Paranautical Activity creator Mike Maulbeck is feeling the repercussions of broadcasting such threats over the Internet, all of which stemmed from an issue that he had with the way that Steam marketed the game.
