Nintendo has responded to a social media campaign that criticised the company for not allowing same-sex marriage in Tomodachi Life. The Big N have defended its decision to only allow heterosexual relationships in-game after it allegedly removed a known bug that enabled same-sex couples.
Video game behemoth Nintendo has reported is financial results for the last twelve months. When the fiscal year ended on March 31st 2014, the results showed the company had posted a loss of 46.4 billion Yen (approximately $457 million). However, in a new twist, Sony Pictures has recently registered three web domains related to the BioShock franchise, according to Joystiq.com. Minecraft's continued success and dominance of the indie game market is showing no signs of slowing down, as its developer, Mojang, has now announced that a retail version of the game will be released on May 16th for PlayStation 3.
