News has broken today that Warner Bros. have just acquired the film rights to Dennis Lehane's upcoming novel Live By Night. Furthermore, the studio has attached Leonardo DiCaprio to star in and produce the film.
Back in October news broke that Universal was negotiating with Jason Statham to join the Fast And Furious franchise for the sixth and seventh films in the series, which they then planned to shoot back-to-back this Spring and Summer in Europe. Turns out that the negotiations didn't work out though as Twitch is reporting that Statham will be passing on both films.
