Deadline is reporting that Paul Dano has joined the cast of Steve McQueen's 12 Years A Slave, which is adapted from Solomon Northup’s novel. The film, which is set to begin filming this Summer, stars Chiwetel Ejiofor alongside Michael Fassbender and Brad Pitt.

The Social Network producer Scott Rudin will produce the biopic which will be titled Steve Jobs, though I wouldn't mind betting that that is a working title. As for the source material, it will be based on the biography by Walter Isaacson.
