Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 May Be An eSports Mainstay Thanks To Shoutcasting
I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around this. The Call of Duty franchise has been written off by a lot of gamers as a yearly cash cow, but every single thing I’ve seen coming from Black Ops 2 is doing more and more to pique my interest. With the new Shoutcasting feature, it’s quite possible that Black Ops 2 will go from being an easily dismissed title to one of the most important eSports games on the market.

According To Madden 13’s Demo, Mike Shanahan Has Been Hitting The Gym
You can see for yourself later today when the demo for Madden NFL 13 hits XBLA and PSN. You’ll be able to play a game between the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins as well as a rematch between the Giants and 49ers. As much fun as it is to rattle Eli Manning’s head around that oversized helmet of his, I’m really looking forward to testing out RGIII’s arm.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown Introduces Competitive Multiplayer Against Known Enemies
It really seems like Firaxis is going out of their way to make XCOM: Enemy Unknown the reboot fans of the title have been clamoring for. For the first time in the history of the franchise, XCOM will allow players to go head to head in a deathmatch. If you can break yourself away from defending the earth from an seemingly inevitable alien onslaught, the two-player mode will allow players to put together a team of six soldiers or aliens (or any combination of the two) in an all-out war for battlefield superiority.
