Sam Raimi Says He’ll Direct Evil Dead 4, But Only If Bruce Campbell Returns
The Evil Dead series is very close to my heart. I had them on grainy VHS when I was a kid and the cocktail of horror, comedy and insane amounts of gore warped my mind into the state it's in today. The franchise is anchored by the amazing central performance of Bruce Campbell, whose chainsaw-wielding Ash Williams is one of the most iconic heroes in the horror genre. But since the third movie, 1992's Army of Darkness, there hasn't been an Evil Dead 4. Much like the monsters that plague Ash, though, the property has proved difficult to kill off.

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Breaks Past The $400 Million Mark
The reviews are mediocre, the fans are angry and the movie isn't very good, but Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is still making money. On New Year's Day the film crossed the $400m domestic mark with haul of $17m, taking its total to $407.6m. So how this stack up compared to other Star Wars movies released around the same time? On their respective New Years' Days, The Last Jedi took $14.2m, Rogue One took $16.75m and The Force Awakens a whopping $34.3m.

Here Are All The Movies Being Removed From Disney Plus This Month
One of the biggest selling points of Disney Plus is that it would grant you access to Disney's impressive back catalogue. Aside from its animated classics, the Mouse House owns a huge variety of other properties through its various subsidiaries, most notably Marvel and Star Wars. So, it's a bit disappointing that Disney Plus seems to be following the lead of its competitors and not just adding, but removing titles each month. And naturally, their subscribers aren't very happy.

For anyone who's seen Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker this won't come as a huge surprise, but it seems that despite what Bob Iger said, the movie was consciously and explicitly a change of direction after Star Wars: The Last Jedi's fan reception. There are multiple sources for this information out there online, as the tepid critical and audience response to the movie has had various creatives playing the blame game for what went wrong with it.

Darth Vader Prequel Show May Flesh Out The Clone Wars’ Story
After the success of The Mandalorian and a post-Rise of Skywalker break for Star Wars on the big screen, the franchise's future lies on Disney Plus. Confirmed as incoming are a new season of The Clone Wars, an Obi-Wan show with Ewan McGregor returning to the part and a series about the adventures of Rebel spy Cassian Andor from Rogue One. But beyond that, all sorts of things are being considered, with a strongly rumored Darth Maul show, a project about Lando Calrissian and his daughter Jannah, and, perhaps most intriguing of all, a Darth Vader series.

Marvel May Introduce The Real Mary Jane Watson In Spider-Man 3
Well, here's a weird one. Ever since the revelation that Zendaya's Michelle in Spider-Man: Homecoming was MJ, the MCU's version of Mary Jane Watson, she's garnered nothing but praise for her performance. The actress went on to impress in Spider-Man: Far From Home as well, fleshing out the character and having some genuine and very sweet romantic chemistry with Tom Holland's Spidey.

The Batman’s Batsuit Is Reportedly Based On Lee Bermejo’s Designs
With filming on The Batman having commenced and pictures of the set already floating about online, I think we're not too far away from an official reveal of Robert Pattinson in the Batsuit. After all, once he's shooting in it, it's only a matter of time before grainy long-lens shots hit the internet and I'm betting that Warner Bros. would rather us see a professionally shot promo pic instead. However, there are those who've already seen the suit and thanks to them, we're starting to build an idea of what it could look like.

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker’s Sith Dagger Has Been Decoded
Decoding the ancient Sith dagger in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker required C-3PO to wipe his memory. Fortunately, us human meatbags aren't bound by such strict programming, and so Fandom reporter Donna Dickens was able to translate the Sith runes on the dagger and reveal what it really says. Dickens didn't have to search any ancient Sith temples to make this translation, but she did have to go on a cool quest of her own.
