Justice League Director Zack Snyder Is A Huge MCU Fan And Never Misses A Movie
What I would have given for a ticket to the recent 'Zack Snyder: The Director's Cut' event. Over the course of three days, the directors' cuts of Dawn of the Dead, Watchmen and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice were screened, with Snyder appearing in person for lengthy Q&As after each one. Over these we learned a hell of a lot about his plans for the DCEU, including confirmation of fan theories and some surprising (and controversial) new revelations. We even got word on the Snyder cut of Justice League, which is apparently closer to completion than anyone previously thought.

Marvel Fans Are Devastated To Learn That Shuri Didn’t Survive Avengers: Infinity War
Letitia Wright's Shuri was the breakout star of Black Panther. Charismatic, ridiculously intelligent, badass and funny, she instantly won over audiences' hearts. Even better, she was conspicuously absent during the depressing finale of Avengers: Infinity War. The lack of a shot of her being dusted led most fans to conclude that she had indeed survived Thanos' Snap, and given that there's now a vacancy for the role of Black Panther, maybe she'd be taking up the mantle. Plus, Angela Bassett was asked whether or not her character Queen Ramonda had died and said: “No. Neither did my daughter. Shuri, she’s a bright girl there in Wakanda. So…”.

Taskmaster Will Be The Main Villain Of The Black Widow Movie
Once Avengers: Endgame is out of the way, the MCU will be moving forward with some very exciting new projects. One of the most anticipated and longest overdue has got to be Black Widow, in which Scarlett Johansson's iconic super-spy will finally get the limelight all to herself. We've been hearing conflicting reports from Marvel Studios as to what the film will actually be about, with rumors that it would be set around the turn of the Millennium wide of the mark. With the film set to shoot in June we should know more very soon - but as of right now we can at least confirm that the film's villain will be the Taskmaster, and that Marvel Studios want Moonlight star André Holland for the part.

Will Pokémon Sword And Shield Add Another Evolution For Eevee?
Eevee is one of the most versatile Pokémon in the series' history. Whereas other Pokémon generally have a set evolution pattern (i.e. Charmander to Charmeleon to Charizard), the player can choose what Eevee becomes. On its introduction in Pokémon Red and Blue, Eevee could evolve into a Jolteon (electric-type), Flareon (fire-type) and Vaporeon (water-type). As the game series has proceeded, players' choice has only expanded, now including Espeon (psychic-type), Umbreon (dark-type), Leafeon (grass-type) Glaceon (ice-type) and most recently in X and Y, Sylveon (fairy-type).

You Won’t Believe How Much Money Apex Legends Made In February
I imagine the champagne corks are popping over at Respawn Entertainment right about now. We already knew that Apex Legends was a huge hit, having picked up a whopping 50 million strong player count one month after release. While that's obviously good news, Apex is an F2P title, so the real barometer of success comes on how much people are choosing to spend on the game.

The CW Pulls The Plug On Supernatural, To End After Season 15
Supernatural is the longest-running show in the history of the CW, having aired more than 300 episodes across its 14 seasons. Over the years it has picked up a passionate fanbase, maintained a consistent level of quality and not been afraid to push the boat out (see the excellent Scooby Doo crossover. Season 15 is currently in production but, sadly, it seems it will be the show's finale.  Stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins took to Twitter this afternoon to post what is obviously an emotional announcement for them. Sony’s Reportedly Planning A Spider-Ham TV Show
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was the best superhero film in a very long time, shaking up the increasingly repetitive superhero origin story in a barrage of psychedelic imagery, snappy dialogue and real heart. It's gone on to be a box office success and an award-winner, recently picking up a richly deserved Best Animated Feature Oscar. With success like this comes opportunity, with Sony eager to capitalize on the film with several spin-offs. We've already heard confirmation of a sequel to the movie, as well as rumors about a Spider-Man 2099 spinoff, but now we're hearing that there's going to be a fully fledged John Mulaney-voiced Spider-Ham TV show.

Shazam! Star Zachary Levi Tells Fans To Leave Brie Larson And Captain Marvel Alone
That Captain Marvel and Shazam! are releasing in close proximity to one another is really doing a number on my brain. I've been a DC guy since way back, and even after Marvel Studio's advertising blitz, when someone says 'Captain Marvel' to me I immediately think of the character now known as Shazam. That the films have this strange symbiotic relationship has inevitably lead the more partisan DC and Marvel fans to pit the films against one another in competition.

The Star Trek Picard Show Is Definitely Not Titled Picard
Star Trek is in rude health at the moment, with Discovery having impressed with its second season and multiple new projects in the pipeline. By far the most exciting is the 'return of Picard' show, which will see Patrick Stewart reprising his role as Captain Jean-Luc Picard for a series of mysterious new adventures. Right now the show is in pre-production, but we've recently learned a bit about Picard's mindset at the time of the show and who the show's supporting characters are. One thing we don't know is the show's official title.
