Grant Gustin And Stephen Amell Swap Costumes On The Set Of Arrowverse Crossover Elseworlds
Elseworlds was one of the cooler projects DC Comics did. The idea was to let their writers off the leash and imagine new and bizarre versions of their universe. As such, it gave us classic stories like Batman: Red Rain, Kingdom Come and Superman: Red Son, before being left dormant in 2003 (there was a brief resurrection in 2010, but that only saw one title released under the imprint). It seems that the Arrowverse producers haven't forgotten about it, though, as it's now being used for what's described as their biggest crossover event yet.

Warner Bros. Reportedly Working On Two Open World DC Universe Games
Things have been suspiciously quiet since Rocksteady's last entry in the Arkham franchise, Batman: Arkham VR landed in 2016. Since then, fans of the games have been speculating on what Warner Bros. Interactive and Rocksteady are cooking up next, with the most common theory being that they're planning on doing for Superman what they did for Batman and finally make an unambiguously great game about the character. It was widely assumed this would be unveiled at E3, but that came and went without a peep from the publisher.

Willem Dafoe Rides An Armored Battle Shark In New Aquaman Photo
Though my excitement levels for James Wan's Aquaman were pretty low after that underwhelming first trailer, they perked up a bit after the recent extended promo (which reminded me of Steven Spielberg's Tintin) and I might be inching into hyped now that I've seen a picture of everyone's favorite innately sinister character actor Willem Dafoe sitting atop an armored Hammerhead Shark. As a man who likes both Dafoe and marine biology, it feels squarely targeted right at me.

New Michael Myers Actor Got Advice From A Real-Life Hitman For Halloween
There's character research and then there's character research, if you know what I mean. Judging by the clips we've seen of Michael Myers in action in Halloween (due out this Friday) he's an efficient, driven and utterly terrifying killer. So how did actor James Jude Courtney who plays Myers for the majority of the movie (the original Michael Myers, Nick Castle cameos in a key scene) prepare for the role? Well, he went and chatted with an actual real-life hitman in order to make sure his killing was terrifyingly accurate.

Avengers 4 LEGO Set Leak Teases A New Vehicle For The Team
There was a time when you could comfortably rely on LEGO merchandising to spoil the plot of upcoming Star Wars and Marvel Studios movies. Though the sets often didn't directly recreate moments from the films, you could at least get an idea of what was coming down the line. But now we've got our first inkling of what LEGO has planned to mark the release of Avengers 4 and they're not giving much away except the price and the number of parts used to build the set.

Jar Jar Binks Returns In Star Wars: Age Of Republic Special #1
Oh man. Really? With Disney purchasing Star Wars and sweeping the prequels under the rug, most assumed that annoying racist caricature and perpetual punchline Jar Jar Binks was history. But now he's back with his own story in this January's Star Wars: Age of Republic Special #1, written by Chip Zdarsky. The one-shot comic promises to give us new stories of characters from the prequel era, with the cover featuring Mace Windu, Jar Jar Binks, Clone Captain Rex and Asajj Ventress (Please correct me if I'm wrong on those last two.)

Ben Affleck Admits That 2003’s Daredevil Was Kinda Silly
Ben Affleck's time as Daredevil isn't remembered particularly fondly. Mark Steven Johnson's film is generally considered to be near the bottom of the barrel of the superhero genre, and though I've got a soft spot for Colin Farrell's take on Bullseye, I have to agree with everyone. Even Stan Lee didn't think much of the movie, commenting that: "They just wrote the whole thing wrong. They made him too tragic."

Is Marvel Teasing Season 2 Of The Defenders With This New Photo?
The Defenders wasn't quite the show we were hoping for. You'd think that by now Marvel Studios would've gotten the hang of bringing together a disparate group of heroes into one team, but here the execution was a bit sloppy and (as star Charlie Cox admits), the pacing was too slow. Nonetheless, it had potential, which made the apparent cancellation of season 2 pretty painful for Marvel fans.

Rupert Grint Explains Why He Almost Quit Harry Potter After Goblet Of Fire
When they were casting Harry, Hermione and Ron for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone the casting director reportedly intentionally looked for children from 'normal' families. They knew that whoever they cast would be involved in the franchise for the majority of their childhood and didn't want any backstage drama disrupting that. And it seems that they chose well: Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint all turned out relatively normally for child stars. Having said that, there were pressures. Grint (now 30!) recently opened up to the Independent about how starring in Harry Potter took its toll:
