Justice League BTS Video Shows Deleted Footage Of The Flash Saving Iris West
I'm an optimistic guy by nature, so despite the many hurdles in its way I'm pretty sure that at some point in the future we'll get to see the fabled 'Snyder cut' of Justice League. Granted, we have contend with the fact that Snyder's version apparently only exists as a very rough edit with unfinished CGI and a temp score, and it's difficult to imagine Warner Bros executives being willing to throw yet more money at the film to finish it (chances are they're busy pretending it didn't happen at all). Still, we eventually got to see the Richard Donner cut of Superman II - albeit 26 years after the film's theatrical release. So, by that metric, we should expect the Snyder cut no later than 2043.

Marvel Fan Asks For Terminally Ill Friend To See Avengers 4 Early
Terminally ill fans getting private advance screenings of upcoming movies seems to be becoming a trend. Back in 2015, J.J. Abrams screened a rough cut of The Force Awakens to Daniel Fleetwood, who died a week after having his wish fulfilled. A similar situation took place with Rogue One as well, when Neil Hanvey was allowed to see the movie two days before its release date. Doing it seems like a no-brainer for studios: you get the warm fuzzies for performing a good deed and you get a buttload of great, free press.

Release Date And Cover Art Revealed For Star Wars Rebels Season 4 Blu-Ray
It must seem particularly cruel to fans of Star Wars Rebels that the show ended just as the big-screen movies finally started paying attention to it. I'm talking of course about the surprise reappearance of Darth Maul in Solo: A Star Wars Story. If you'd have just watched the movies you'd have last seen him bisected and falling down an enormous hole on Naboo, apparently deader than dead can be. If you'd have been watching Rebels (and The Clone Wars), you'd have already known that he survived the encounter and is now sporting a shiny robot lower half.

Simon Pegg Says Another Edgar Wright Collaboration Is A Given
It's always a pleasure watching people you were fans of before they were famous hit it big, right? Granted, my before they were famous for Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright was falling in love with their groundbreaking late 90's British sitcom Spaced, which led to them making their much-loved Cornetto Trilogy - Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End. Those projects enabled Pegg to unexpectedly break out as a megastar, most notably as a supporting actor in the Mission: Impossible and Star Trek franchises, with Edgar Wright finally breaking into America with his 2017 hit Baby Driver.

Man Of Steel 2 Announcement Said To Be Imminent
While it sounds like Warner Bros are waiting to see how Aquaman and Shazam! do before deciding on what's going to happen with Matt Reeves' The Batman, it looks as if they're raring to go for a Henry Cavill starring Man of Steel 2. The rumor comes courtesy of the insider gossip-filled El Fanboy Podcast, which has noted that Henry Cavill is set to appear on the Warner Bros panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, which runs from 19-22 July, together with the fact that Cavill's diary for the next year or so is suspiciously clear.

Lucasfilm Rethinking Their Production And Marketing Strategy Following Solo: A Star Wars Story
It's unsurprising that Solo: A Star Wars Story has led LucasFilm and Disney to reconsider their future plans for Star Wars. After all, while the ill-fated spinoff might not have killed the golden goose, it's certainly bruised its beak a bit. Now The Hollywood Reporter is saying that LucasFilm are 'licking their wounds', but still forging ahead with plans for the Star Wars spinoff films. This will be good news for fans of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi, both of which have been strongly rumored to be in development at LucasFilm.
