Abrams’ upcoming film will mark the end of an era of sorts for the franchise. And once the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy has drawn to a close, it sounds like we may have to wait a while before the series returns to the big screen.
While the fate of Steve Rogers has yet to be confirmed, it remains a popular prediction that this month’s Avengers: Endgame will see Chris Evans’ character meet a sad end. But even if he lives through the events of Marvel’s Phase 3 finale, it’s generally assumed that the film will serve as the First Avenger’s swan song.
While the Star Wars Celebration panel for The Mandalorian isn’t until this Sunday, these last couple of days have already yielded a generous amount of material and info from the franchise’s first live-action TV series.
