Although it was confirmed last week that Arrow will be hanging it up following its ten-episode eighth season, it's important we not forgot that we still have a solid chunk of the current broadcast year remaining. That said, we're going to take a closer look at tonight's episode, "Training Day," before it kicks off.
Though the DC Universe streaming service is still very much in its infancy, it's managed to impress with a couple live action series, those being Titans and Doom Patrol. Not only that, but the first thirteen episodes of the animated darling that is Young Justice: Outsiders were also highly entertaining, and I must say I'm looking forward to seeing the next thirteen adventures when they drop this summer.
With spring creeping up on us, you're bound to begin wondering when the season finales for your favorite Arrowverse shows will air. Fortunately, The CW's made that information public, and we're going to share it with you right now. Actually, the network's entire slate will be included for good measure because it's fair to assume that more than a few of you also dig stuff like Supernatural or Riverdale.
Once you settle into the Raccoon City Police Station after progressing slightly into your playthrough of the Resident Evil 2 remake, you'll be given your first major task. In short, you'll be instructed to find three medallions that, when placed at the base of a statue, will open up a way out of the building. Of course, it's far from that simple, and we'll let you know how to round up each one of them - and in the 2nd Run scenario as well.
Even though we've been spoiled by the likes of IT and Halloween (2018) in the past few years, it's actually Sinister that remains my favorite horror flick released in our current decade. Not only was I drawn in by the sharply dressed Bughuul and his love for making home videos, but I absolutely loved the music included. In short, the picture delivered on multiple levels, at least in my view.
One of the many things I love about DC Comics is that of how it explores the multiverse and future timelines, thus allowing us to meet radically different takes on the publisher's various icons. In other words, we may see something as nightmarish as the New Reichsmen of Earth-X, or the insanely imaginative heroes native to the DC: One Million tales.
Though it's inevitable that every TV series meet its end at some point, yesterday's confirmation on Arrow concluding with its eighth season still came as a punch to the gut. And if that weren't enough, lead actor Stephen Amell likely brought tears to the eyes of many devoted fans with a heartfelt goodbye video soon after the news broke.
Normally, a season of Arrow consists of 23 episodes. This year, though, it'll clock in at 22. But when it comes to the eighth and final season, expect for a much more truncated affair, as the tally for that one will come in at 10.
Even though we gave you all a heads up regarding Arrow likely coming to an end with its eighth season a few weeks ago, the confirmation given earlier this evening came as no less of a shock to me. Those of you who follow this site on a regular basis have probably come to notice that I, too, am a massive fan of the series, having been on board with the show since its pilot episode aired.
Having been a fan of Ghostbusters since early childhood, you can imagine that seeing a proper third entry into the franchise has been on my wishlist since 1989. Unfortunately, nothing came to fruition in that regard, though a reboot somehow came together in short order following Harold Ramis’ passing a few years back. As fate would have it, the new take on the concept wasn’t received all that well, therefore any plans for a followup were scrapped.
