Throughout his career Christian Bale has turned yo-yo dieting into an art form. Literally. While many actors may shy away from piling on the pounds, bulking up or starving themselves within an inch of death, for Bale that type of method acting only proved his dedication to the craft. It's been a bit barmy watching him balloon and then suddenly - POP! - back to his regular size, and it looks as if he hasn't got the energy to chow down on more deep fried pizzas. Bale has left Michael Mann's Enzo Ferrari biopic due to this very issue.
Another Die Hard movie is in development, and it's set to shake things up from the stagnant tripe that was A Good Day To Die Hard. For this next installment, Die Hard: Year One, Fox is planning a prequel tale revolving around the tough-as-nails John McClane's fledgling years as a New York City beat cop. Len Wiseman is back to direct, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura to produce, and of course, Bruce Willis will slip into a greasy wife-beater as McClane.
Shooting on the Warner Bros. and DC Comics' Wonder Woman movie only started late last year, leaving many fans eager to get a proper glimpse at the movie in the doldrums. If there's not much film in the can, we'll have a while to wait for a trailer, right? Well, today we're happy inform you that the first brief look at Wonder Woman is due to arrive next week on The CW. DC's Creative Officer Geoff Johns and writer-director-fanboy supreme Kevin Smith are co-hosting a TV special entitled Dawn Of The Justice League.
After a thirteen-year long wait, one of television's most popular sci-fi series is headed back to the small screen. The X-Files revival miniseries is due to premiere at the end of this month, with David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprising their roles as the intrepid FBI Special Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. Fans the world over have been furiously binge-watching the previous nine seasons to get themselves 'in the know' before it debuts, but if you're not fussy, check out the new trailer that's dropped online today.

Alex Garland's Dredd resonated so strongly that fans have in the years following its release, rallied for a sequel. Now firmly entrenched in the realm of cult classic - a feat aided by the lengthy attempts to make said sequel - it might be time to admit defeat and simply enjoy the rollicking adventure Garland created. However, at least 136,000 diehard fans certainly don't feel that way, as they've signed their names to a new petition entitled Bring Back Dredd.
Rumblings of a Flash Gordon reboot first stirred two years ago - when Star Trek Beyond's scribes were linked to the project - and last year made headlines when Kingsman: The Secret Service helmer Matthew Vaughn entered talks to direct. Since then things have been remarkably quiet on the blonde-haired hero front - until now. I Am Legend and Thor screenwriter Mark Protosevich has signed on to rewrite the screenplay, earlier versions of which were completed by J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay.
When Scream Queens was good, it was exceptionally funny and eager to poke fun at its own ludicrousness. When it was bad? It let down all the brilliance which came before. Still, Fox is looking at responses to the show's first season in a positive light, as its now been officially renewed for a second season. In typical Chanel fashion, here's the series' official Twitter announcement:
Fox is pushing forward with a soft reboot of its real-time action series 24, that plans to adopt the same structure and style of the earlier show with a brand new cast.
Fox's plans to drag out their most successful series for another go on the small screen continues today, as the network confirmed that Prison Break is returning. This isn't the first time we've heard of this development, with early chatter beginning last summer about a potential revival of the action drama that's set to bring back the show's two leading stars and a clutch of its crew members for a short-run event series.
