It has been announced late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning that Paul Pierce has opted out of his contract and triggered his early termination contract to become an unrestricted free agent on Thursday. This news has come less than 24 hours before free agent signing begins. Paul Pierce will join the likes of Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Dirk Nowitzki, Amare Stoudemire, and Carlos Boozer as free agent signing begins on July 1st at midnight.

Looking Past The Big Three

With the most anticipated day in recent NBA history only 30 hours away, all of the focus seems to be centered around "The Big Three" of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh. Once again, the BET Awards put on an incredible show filled with a number of memorable performances, comebacks, and tributes. Some of the performances included T.I.'s first performance since being released from prison. He performed "Yeah Ya Know" with Travis Barker on the drums. Kanye West also made his first performance since his incident with Taylor Swift at last years MTV Music Awards by opening the show with his latest single, "Power".

Epic Battle Leaves Its Mark in the Record Books

The greatest tennis match in the history of the sport took place this week in the opening round of Wimbledon. The match shattered a number of records that nobody will ever come close to surpassing. The match featured American rising star John Isner, and French underdog, Nicolas Mahut. It all started on Tuesday evening at 6:13 pm. At 9:07 pm, at a score of two sets all after almost three hours of play, the match was suspended due to darkness. At this point nobody had any idea of what would transpire when the two returned to the court to battle out the fifth set on Wednesday.
