Expanding its lineup of British programming, which already includes big-name series like Doctor Who and Sherlock, Netflix recently announced that it will air the first two seasons of BBC Two's ambitious crime saga Peaky Blinders for stateside viewers. This fall, Lifetime will take an uncharacteristic trip into horror lit with Big Driver, an adaptation of Stephen King's same-named short story from his 2010 collection Full Dark, No Stars. Maria Bello stars in the grim and brutal pic, about an author who is brutally raped and assaulted by a truck driver, only to survive and return seeking vengeance.

The corporation has acquired format rights to the racy Finnish fantasy series Nymphs and is planning to make a U.S. version. On board for the task is none other than Spartacus: Blood and Sand scribe Miranda Kwok.
Though Get On Up star Chadwick Boseman is the name that has been bandied around the most with respect to Marvel's planned Black Panther film, the project is in such early stages of development that many other actors are understandably also throwing their names into the mix. Jason Reitman has delivered some absolutely incredible films over the years, from Juno to Up in the Air, so it's with great enthusiasm that we're anticipating the arrival of his take on the Internet age, enigmatically titled Men, Women & Children. The cast is absolutely terrific, with an assortment of A-listers and red-hot up-and-comers, but the real cause for excitement is Reitman's script, which looks to tell an ambitious story of how the connecting power of technology has rendered us more lonely than ever.
For his upcoming supernatural actioner The Last Witch Hunter, Vin Diesel is joining the Rip Van Winkle club, judging from the looks of some new photos from the flick. Posted to Diesel's Facebook page, as per usual for his projects, the images give us our first look at Kaulder, the titular witch hunter who attempts to prevent a sorceress-sparked apocalypse in modern-day New York City.
