Warner Bros. To Announce Titles For Upcoming DC Films Later This Month
Earlier this week, Warner Brothers made our geeky wishes come true as the studio finally announced release dates for its burgeoning DC Cinematic Universe. Not only did it move Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice away from Captain America 3 by shifting the film to March 25th, 2016, but the studio revealed the release dates for nine "Untitled DC films" that stretch from 2016 to 2020, giving us two DC Comics adaptations a year.

Worlds Collide In New Trailer And Poster For The Boxtrolls
With just two feature films, Laika Studios have become one of the leading animation houses in Hollywood - critically speaking, at least. Coraline and Paranorman didn't exactly blow up the box office, collectively grossing about $137 million, but they did manage to push the boundaries of stop-motion animation and add a bit of much-needed ingenuity and heart into the world of animated film. They've also pushed the envelope from a technical standpoint, as Coraline was the first stop-motion animated film to be shot in 3D, while Paranorman became the first stop-motion film to use a 3D color printer to create its characters.

The Clock King Will Cross Over From Arrow To The Flash
Having The Flash and Arrow share a cinematic universe on television is incredibly exciting and really opens the door for crossovers between the two super-shows. We recently learned that both series would have a 2-hour crossover event during the eighth episodes of their respective upcoming seasons, but a few minor crossovers will actually happen a bit sooner than that.

Twin Peaks’ Kyle MacLachlan Joins Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. In Major Role
Marvel did little over the course of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s first season to get us legitimately excited about a second one, but the studio has been slowly fixing that over the last few weeks. As the series gears up for its sophomore year, it's been gaining new cast members along the way, like Xena: Warrior Princess and Battlestar Galactica actress Lucy Lawless, and Marvel Comics characters Mockingbird and Kraken.

DC Villain Girder Will Have A Recurring Role On The Flash
The Rogues - a team of supervillains who unite to take down Barry Allen - were just announced to have a presence in the first season of the upcoming Flash series on the CW, with confirmed members being Captain Cold (Prison Break's Wentworth Miller), Plastique (NCIS: Los Angeles actress Kelly Frye) and Weather Wizard (Chad Rook). That won't be all though, as according to a new casting call for the show's sixth episode, DC Comics character Tony Woodward, a.k.a. Girder, will be on the team as well.

Aquaman And Anti-Superman Protests Teased In Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice Set Report
Zack Snyder's highly anticipated Man of Steel follow up, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is currently filming in Michigan, and over the last week we've seen several set photos leak that show Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne and more destruction in Metropolis. Whether or not that destruction happens in Batman V Superman, or is rubble left over from Zod's attack on the city in Man Of Steel is unknown, but a new set report from Batman On Film may just have the answers (and intriguing teases) we were looking for.

DC role casting for the upcoming third season of Arrow continues, and this time the series will introduce someone with close ties to Oliver's right-hand man, John Diggle. According to THR, Medium star David Cubitt has landed a "meaty" guest role, in the form of DC Comics character Mark Shaw, a.k.a. Manhunter.

Darkseid May Not Appear In DC’s Movie Universe Until Justice League 2
With the DC cinematic universe still in its infancy over at Warner Brothers, it seems a bit premature to turn our gaze toward the unannounced but probable Justice League sequel, but since it concerns fan-favorite celestial baddie Darkseid it's worth a closer look. Many fans have speculated that the New God and ruler of Apokolips could give the Justice League hell in their first cinematic team-up (which is expected to hit theaters in 2017), but a new rumor suggests that he may bide his time and wait for Justice League 2 before threatening the likes of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and their group of super friends.
