Plastique Will Appear On The Flash TV Series
The Flash is quickly heading our way, and adding new DC Comics characters to its cast list left and right. Just last week, Prison Break star Wentworth Miller signed on to play one of the Flash's biggest villains, Captain Cold, and just before that The Tomorrow People alum Robbie Amell (cousin to Arrow star Stephen Amell) boarded the show as the superhero Firestorm. They join already-announced characters like Killer Frost and Vibe, Professor Zoom, and Weather Wizard.

Captain America 3 Writers Discuss MODOK Possibility
The Marvel Cinematic Universe may be regarded as the more "fun" approach to superhero filmmaking, but that doesn't mean we'll ever see the super-villain MODOK on the big screen. Sure, we've seen some pretty crazy things in the MCU, like Red Skull, Thanos, a talking raccoon, Groot, and huge Chitauri space whale things, but something about a giant head floating around on a mechanical chair just doesn't seem like it would translate well to live action.

James Gunn Wants To Direct A Thunderbolts Movie For Marvel
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige must be pretty happy with what James Gunn has done with Guardians of the Galaxy, because all signs point toward the director staying under the Marvel roof for the foreseeable future. Gunn recently explained that he's willing to return for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 if the first proves successful, and told Badass Digest that he's already signed on to direct another Marvel film (which some have speculated may in fact be Avengers 3).

Marvel Claims The Amazing Spider-Man 4’s Old 2018 Release Date, Possibly For Avengers 3
Last week Marvel announced five new release dates, pushing the limits of its ever-expanding cinematic universe to 2019. At this point in time, no films have been announced for those dates, but that's likely going to change this weekend when Marvel takes the stage at Hall H during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Now, just hours after Sony announced that The Amazing Spider-Man 4 had vacated its May 4th, 2018 release date (and that The Amazing Spider-Man 3 had been pushed into an unspecified date in 2018), Marvel has stepped up and claimed that May 4th date for one of its own films.

Marvel’s Kevin Feige Talks Red Skull’s Return And The “Real” Mandarin
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has done a fine job with bringing costumed superheroes to the big screen, but frankly, it has a bit of a villain problem. Loki is undoubtedly Marvel's most popular asset in this department (and their most frequent, having appeared in three films), but everyone else who's aimed to give Earth's Mightiest Heroes hell has failed to strike a similar chord.
