Has Doctor Who Showrunner Stephen Moffat Been Offered A Star Wars Movie?
J.J. Abrams may be currently working on bringing Star Wars: Episode VII to the big screen, but lately our sights have been set on the films that will come after its December 2015 release. Over the last few months Disney and Lucasfilm have been signing multiple directors for the various forthcoming Star Wars sequels and spin-off films. They've nabbed some pretty great talent too, from Godzilla director Gareth Edwards to Chronicle director Josh Trank. Then there's Looper helmer Rian Johnson, who will write and direct Episode VIII, and handle scripting duties on Episode IX as well.

New Photos And Details For Michael Rooker’s Yondu In Guardians Of The Galaxy
Now that the marketing for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is in full swing, we're seeing a ton of new content from the film, from an extended trailer and TV spots to a host of new images. It's impressive, then, that the studio has managed to keep details and glimpses of two major characters under wraps. First there's Thanos, the "Big Bad" of the entire Marvel cinematic universe, who we first glimpsed in the Avengers post-credits sequence and who'll be showing up again in Guardians (with the voice of Josh Brolin).

As we're now only a few weeks away from the arrival of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, the studio is officially kicking the marketing campaign into high gear. Today they've lifted the embargo on past set visits, meaning we'll be seeing a ton of interviews and set reports flooding the web throughout the day. Additionally, Marvel has released a lot of new content for the film, including a great new extended trailer, several TV spots, and a host of new images.

Marvel Hires Two More Writers To Rewrite Ant-Man
When Peyton Reed and Adam McKay jumped on board Marvel's Ant-Man, it seemed like the long stretch of bad press and production woes were finally behind us. Reed would direct, and McKay would rework the script to include the studio-mandated changes that made Edgar Wright leave in the first place. However, it seems like the film will undergo even more creative shuffling now, as Latino Review reports that two more writers have been brought on to re-revise the script.

Brandon Routh Joins Arrow As The Atom
Arrow is adding yet another DC Comics superhero to its roster, and this time they're bringing in a former Superman for the role. Brandon Routh, who played the big blue Boy Scout in Bryan Singer's 2006 film Superman Returns, will take on the role of Ray Palmer, aka The Atom, for 14 episodes in the upcoming third season.
