NBC's series about ordinary people who found out they had superpowers was regarded as "the next Lost," though its praises didn't last for long. New Promo Image And Synopsis For Marvel’s Agent Carter TV Series

Yesterday, ABC announced that they would be staying in the Marvel business by not only renewing Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a second season, but by ordering Agent Carter straight to series as well. Hayley Atwell will reprise her role as the fan-favorite co-founder of S.H.I.E.L.D., Peggy Carter. For those unfamiliar with the character, she showed up in Captain America: The First Avenger, her own Agent Carter One-Shot short film, and had a brief appearance in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
