Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Trailer Premieres Next Week
Fans eager to see what Marvel Studios has up their sleeve with Guardians of the Galaxy are in luck, because we now have word that the hotly anticipated first trailer for the film will debut next week, on February 18th. Guardians is Marvel's riskiest bet yet, since it's based on a comic few have ever heard of that features a ragtag group of cosmic ex-cons whose roster includes the green-skinned Gamora (Zoe Saldana), a talking raccoon named Rocket (Bradley Cooper), the dangerous Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), a walking tree named Groot (Vin Diesel), and Parks and Recreation's Chris Pratt as the leader, Star-Lord.

Firefly Producer Would Love To Bring Back The Show As A Limited Series
You've got to hand it to Firefly fans, they sure don't give up easy. I doubt there's ever been a TV show cancellation that's caused more outcry, and more unanimous fan support, than Joss Whedon's criminally short lived sci-fi western. It was fan enthusiasm that allowed the show to come back as the feature film Serenity in 2005, though it didn't generate enough box office returns to warrant a sequel or television revival. Since then, Whedon and co. have been asked countless times about the possibility of a comeback, and the answer seems to always be, "We'd love to, but it's probably not gonna happen."

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Entire Series Available On Netflix On March 7
Good news, Star Wars fans! It was announced early this morning that as part of an exclusive licensing agreement with the Disney/ABC Television group, all episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be arriving on Netlfix on March 7th, including the sixth and final season, called "The Lost Missions." We'll also be treated to several never-before-seen director's cut episodes and the 2008 feature film that jumpstarted this fun and impressive series.

Donal Logue Cast As Harvey Bullock In Gotham
DC's Jim Gordon-centric Batman prequel series, Gotham, is quickly picking up steam, as several major cast members signed on for the show this week. First came the news that Southland star Ben McKenzie had been cast as Gordon, then we got word that Alfred Pennyworth, Oswald Cobblepot, and Gordon's fiance Barbara had been cast as well. Now we have news that Terriers and Sons of Anarchy star Donal Logue will be making the trip to Gotham City, as Jim Gordon's once-corrupt cigar-chomping partner, Detective Harvey Bullock.

Original Flash Actor John Wesley Shipp Cast In CW’s The Flash
When DC announced that Green Arrow would be coming to the small screen (for the second time, getting his own reboot show after appearing on a few seasons of Smallville), no one could have guessed that it would usher in a new era for DC comics on television. The show has been enjoying rave reviews, is currently in its second season, and will soon give way to a Flash spin-off starring Glee's Grant Gustin.

Iron Man 3 Writer Drew Pearce Wants To Make Damage Control For Marvel
On Monday we reported that Iron Man 3 scribe Drew Pearce was still hopeful about Runaways, the film he was originally hired by Marvelto make, seeing the light of day in a post-Guardians of the Galaxy world. Now, we have word that the screenwriter is setting his sights on an even riskier, and possibly more obscure property to bring to the big screen: Damage Control.

Marvel’s Runaways Movie Could Still Be Possible After Guardians Of The Galaxy
There's no denying that Marvel Studios is leading the pack when it comes to superhero cinema, thanks to their constantly-expanding cinematic universe. It's hard to believe how far they've come in the six years since Iron Man was released; and according to President of Production Kevin Feige, they've got plans for future films all the way to 2021. Now that the studio has completed Phase One, and are now halfway through a post-Avengers Phase Two, they will have to carefully balance bringing in new characters with those they've already established. With so many things already laid in place, is there still room for once-planned but seemingly cast-aside properties to see the light of day? According to Iron Man 3 scribe Drew Pearce, one such film, Runaways, may still have that chance.

FX Developing Star Trek Inspired Redshirts Series
Trekkies everywhere may have to wait a bit longer before seeing Star Trek return to the small screen, but perhaps an adaptation of John Scalzi's Hugo Award Winning novel Redshirts is the next best thing. Deadline is reporting that FX is developing a limited series based on Scalzi's novel, from producers John Shestack (Air Force One, Dan in Real Life), Ken Kwapis (The Office) and Alexandra Beattie (Outsourced).
