The Vamps were, at one point, touted to be the next big thing in music. The UK boy band shared a bunch of similarities with acts like One Direction and The Wanted when they hit the scene in 2014 with their debut, Meet the Vamps. It was an endearing record with a ton of bright sides, most notably in “Can We Dance,” a song co-penned by the “24k Magic” star Bruno Mars. However, last year’s follow-up didn’t really make much noise, so the boys decided to head back to square one to see what they could cook up next.
Tove Lo’s new song may be titled “True Disaster,” but the song itself is anything but. Yet another instant grat track from her upcoming album, Lady Wood -- out in just a few weeks -- “True Disaster” is more proof of a promising effort from the Swedish pop star.
Don’t feel bad if you haven’t heard much from MAGIC! lately. Though the Canadian reggae-pop band recently released an album, Primary Colours, this past July, they haven’t exactly lit up the airwaves like they did so mightily back in 2014 with their hit, “Rude.” However, that doesn’t mean their new material isn’t worth giving a go -- the band’s music video for “No Regrets” premieres today, and it’s a great reason as to why they should still be on everyone’s radar.
Travis Scott fans got a fun surprise this morning when it was noticed that a seemingly brand new Scott album had surfaced onto streaming sites -- turns out, though, that’s not actually the case.
Machine Gun Kelly only released his latest album, General Admission, a year ago, but the rapper is planning big things when it comes to his next project. “Bad Things,” his latest single and song off his forthcoming record, has been released, and it’s a collaboration with Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello.
Little Mix’s glory days are coming – at least if their new album title is anything to go by. Sharing the news on social media, the pop group announced that their upcoming record, Glory Days, will be arriving to our ears on November 18th.
It’s not often that you see a “Parental Advisory” warning before the start of a music video, but for The Weeknd’s new clip for “False Alarm,” it’s incredibly warranted. Directed by Ilya Naishuller, “False Alarm” gives you a first person perspective of what it’s like to rob a bank, with all the violence and gritty details to go along with it.
Charli XCX is ending 2016 with a bang. After releasing the critically acclaimed EP, Vroom Vroom, which was responsible for offering tracks like the monstrous “Paradise” and "Trophy," Charli is getting set to dish out a brand new single. The track titled “After the Afterparty” is set to debut on October 28th, and it’s going to feature a guest spot from hip-hop up and comer, Lil Yachty.
Kid Cudi may be going through some hard times right now, but when he said that it wouldn’t be getting in the way of his album cycle, he meant it. What he’s going through could be considered more than “hard times” though – the rapper checked himself into rehab following an ongoing battle with depression, and while we wish him the best in terms of his health, he’s still kept things moving with new music.
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have been a bit quiet ever since releasing their long awaited sophomore album, This Unruly Mess I’ve Made, back in February. As a whole, the record didn’t exactly live up to expectations, but the underlying message of the album was how Macklemore persevered through a battle with drug addiction. Now, he goes into detail about it all on the therapeutic new song, “Drug Dealer.”
