Touring electronic music festival HARD Summer took place in Pomona, California over the weekend, and in a tragic turn of events two attendees - aged 18 and 19 - have passed away due to suspected substance abuse. Authorities have not yet revealed the names of the deceased, but will do so after their family members have been notified.
As we count down the days until the release of Disclosure's highly anticipated follow-up to their debut album, more and more information from the effort finds its way to us. After wowing us with their brand-new Sam Smith collaboration, "Omen," the Surrey, England brothers have delivered an official track list for Caracal.
Alright everybody, looks like tropical house isn't cool anymore. Justin Bieber has uploaded a 12-second clip from his follow-up to his and Jack Ü's collaboration "Where Are Ü Now," and artists like Kygo, Klingande and Thomas Jack must be rolling their eyes at his co-opting of their signature style.
It feels like it's been ages since we've seen any Mat Zo headlines that don't have to do with his epic Twitter tirade, and his publicists certainly don't seem willing to put him all the way back in the spotlight just yet (we know, we tried). His latest release doesn't appear to have been his own doing, though - his long-awaited remix of Arty's "Stronger" has surfaced, and now everybody's talking about him again.

Everybody's got one or two songs that reminds them of every festival they go to, and apparently so does Shazam. The music identification app aggregated the numbers of Shazams of different tracks at Boom, Belgium festival Tomorrowland last weekend - as it does at countless others - and even though much of the results were to be expected, there were still a few surprises.

After claiming that he had no idea who Avicii was and poking that he sounded "like an artist from the Renaissance period," Gallagher went on to criticize deadmau5 in another interview. Both artists have recently responded to Gallagher's remarks, each in a fashion befitting their very different public personas.
