Minecraft: Story Mode’s Second Episode Is Out Early
In a surprising but pleasant move, Telltale Games has chosen not to wait several months between installments of their episodic games like they typically have. While the first episode of Minecraft: Story Mode only launched two weeks ago, the follow-up, Assembly Required, is already available across most platforms today. The developer has not yet announced any information regarding the scheduling of the remaining three episodes yet, but it's possible that this second installment was released earlier than usual to coincide with the release of the physical disc version of the game, which will include the first episode on the disc and allow for the remainder of the series to be downloaded for free as each episode is released.

Superbeat: Xonic Launching With Two Limited Editions
Superbeat: Xonic, a rhythm game helmed by many of the same people as the cult DJMax series, is scheduled for a North American release exclusively on PS Vita this fall. Besides a standard digital release, the game will also have two limited editions at launch exclusively via PM Studios' web store, which is currently offline but will likely be reopened closer to launch.

The first episode of Minecraft: Story Mode, titled The Order of the Stone, is less than two weeks away from its October 13 digital launch. And now, to drum up further hype, Telltale and Mojang have released a new trailer detailing some of the lore that will factor into the episodic adventure game.

Project X Zone 2 Will Feature Characters From Nintendo
Hot off the confirmation of its North American release date, Namco Bandai has revealed another interesting bit of information regarding the upcoming Project X Zone 2. While the original title stuck to characters from Namco, Capcom and Sega for its huge crossover, the sequel will go even further, as three characters from Nintendo-published games have been confirmed.
