Real-life guitar players have a new reason to plug their axes into either an Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, or Mac today as Ubisoft has released Rocksmith 2014 Edition in North America for all four platforms. The sequel to 2011's Rocksmith, the game enables rockers to make use of a special USB cable that can plug into any electric guitar or bass with a standard 1/4 output jack, and learn to really play numerous classic and contemporary rock songs note by note.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Launch Trailer Released
The initial North American launch for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, currently scheduled for October 29, will mark the release of the game on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with the PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, and PC versions all scheduled for November. Now that we're a scant week away from getting our plunder on, Ubisoft has released a brand-new launch trailer to entice fans of the series even more.

Sony Offers New Story & Gameplay Details On Knack
Amidst the delays of such former PlayStation 4 launch titles as Driveclub and Watch Dogs, there are numerous games that will still apparently make the system's launch. Among them is Sony Japan Studio's Knack, a family-friendly action game headed by veteran developer Mark Cerny. Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus Will Come With A Free Game
Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus, the latest upcoming entry in Insomniac's popular PlayStation series, is still on track for its November 12 North American release date, with a simultaneous physical and digital launch planned for $29.99. With this latest announcement, there is now an extra incentive for players to purchase the disc-based version of the game, as Sony has announced plans to include a voucher code for the series' first downloadable title, that being 2008's Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest For Booty, the middle title of the original PS3 trilogy, with every copy of Into the Nexus.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX Hits PS3 Worldwide In 2014
Well, that didn't take too long. Hot off the American release of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX, Square Enix and Disney have confirmed that a second high-definition remastered PlayStation 3 compilation is also in the works. Appropriately titled Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, this new collection will again be comprised of two playable titles and a compilation of cutscenes from a third.
