Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer Leak
Heads up! Modern Warfare 3 leak, via Kotaku. It seems that the hugely anticipated follow up to Infinity Ward’s MW2 (aren’t they all hugely anticipated these days?) is officially in the works, and that Raven, Sledgehammer, and whatever is actually left of Infinity Ward are pouring their efforts into delivering this year’s fix of CoD.

PS3’s Best Games To Take Out Anger With
As every PS3 owner is currently depressed that their beloved online network is locked away in a top secret cyber hospital, and with no obvious indicator of when it’s going to be free to leave. I thought it might be of therapeutic value to reflect on the best games the console has to offer you if you need to let off some steam. That’s right; we’re talking about releasing anger in a game situation-so you don’t end up doing it in the real world. Like a stress ball, but with more HD.

Assassin’s Creed 3 Will Introduce A New Character
After the mixed reception Ubisoft received from fans, following the reveal of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, the creative director for the game confirmed in an interview with Game Informer that the game will actually see a new character brought to the world. But is this too little too late?

So here we are again; hand over your cash early and commit to the purchase before it’s even officially out and the publisher will reward you with stuff you feel should already be on the disc. Great. After feeling rather proud of yourself following on from your successful completion of the quirky and charming game that is Portal 2 you may have idly wondered how well you did. 2011’s Biggest Brawl: Modern Warfare 3 vs. Battlefield 3
Battlefield 3 is the first real threat to the Call Of Duty name since the monolithic success of Modern Warfare 2 propelled the military shooter into the celestial clouds of gaming paradise. Activision has been completely dominating the online gaming communities, not just the entire FPS genre. Black Ops however, managed to trump its predecessor and went on to become the most successful videogame of all time (no mean feat), but arguably this is largely due to a cumulative effect of anticipation that should in part be credited to MW2.

The following press release surfaced today from global hacking group ‘Anonymous’, the article snaps back at journalists and critics who are pointing a finger at the hackers and blaming them for the recent PSN crash. As everything continues to rage away in all its complex political forms, gamers have been without their online multiplayer service for nearly three weeks, and are getting fed up.

PSN Potentially Not Live Again Till May 31st
Sony have now confirmed over the phone to Bloomberg, following a conference, that the company expects/fears the Playstation Network and related services could be down until as late as the end of May. The company have apologised and stated “We were unaware of the extent of the attack on Sony Online Entertainment servers, and we are taking this opportunity to conduct further testing of the incredibly complex system.”

The Zombie Game: Will Activision Step Up?
I’m happy to admit that I only continue play Call Of Duty: Black Ops (when PSN isn’t down), because of the zombie mode. Despite the mighty scope of the multiplayer it’s the ceaseless blasting of zombie limbs that draws the Black Ops portion of my gaming time, even though it’s pretty much just an extra third of an otherwise large title.
